I just installed WP Affiliate Platform lastnight, created a few banners, registered myself to test the set-up, logged into affiliate area fine and could see the banners I’d created and the links to different areas in the top menu.
Today, I tried logging in to check some new banners I’d made, and it returns me to the sign-up/sign-in page every time.
Here’s the page that I have in my URL within WP Affiliate Platform
[http://cherylmccainphotography.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/login.php]
I’m using the default affiliate page set-up.
I haven’t installed any new plugins.
I haven’t upgraded anything.
I checked to be sure my caps weren’t on and tried logging in several times, even copying and pasting my login information.
I am using WP 3.4.2
I am using WP Affilate Platform v. 5.3.6
Thanks!
Cheryl
November 10, 2012 at 1:18 am #51217CherylMMemberVery strange but I created a page ON my site with the short code and it allows me to login. If I then go to the browser URL for the stand alone page, and refresh, it shows me as logged in.
So I guess my question now would be, should I just change the link in the Affiliate Plugin Settings to reflect the PAGE on my site? And just forget about the browser page?
Thanks,
Cheryl

November 11, 2012 at 10:37 pm #51219myovantageMemberI have a similar issue where I created an affiliate page on my site and set myself up as a test affiliate. I can login to the affiliate url that was created for me but cannot login to the affiliate page where I have the short code embedded? Is this common and if so how do I fix it so that my website page login and new affiliate buttons actually work? After enterring the password it states “required field” as if I never enterred anything?
November 12, 2012 at 4:23 am #51220adminKeymaster@myovantage, Your situation looks like there is some JavaScript errors on your site. Please post a link to your affiliate login page and the details of a test affiliate account so I can investigate it.
February 25, 2015 at 3:07 pm #51221tb0437MemberHello,
Just purchased the pluggin and installed it….Go to my website and get this error only after typing in url…..
Fatal error: Call to undefined function has_shortcode() in /home/content/57/8734857/html/charms/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_platform1.php on line 946
I am using a theme by expand2web but other plugins seem to work fine. Once I deactivate your plugin and go back to my website it opens up fine.
Thanks
February 25, 2015 at 10:55 pm #51222adminKeymasterSeems like you are using a very old version of WordPress?
The current WordPress version is 4.1.1. Is that what you are using?
February 27, 2015 at 12:57 am #51223tb0437Memberno I am using 3.XXX
February 27, 2015 at 1:34 am #51224adminKeymasterThat your issue right there. You are using a WordPress version that is more than 3 years old. All of our plugins are kept upto date to work with the latest version of WordPress. You must upgrade your WordPress version just because of the security reasons alone (many security fixes have been applied to WordPress in the last 3 years).
