I have been attempting to “allow free membership” in “General Settings.” It appears that I do not know what to enter into “Free Membership Level ID.” I have no clue what the plugin wants for that ID. Everything I enter is rejected by red error messages.
Here is my “Registration” page: [http://www.cya.org/?page_id=921]
Why does that page not show up in the admins list of “Pages?”
WordPress 3.4.1
WP eMembers 8.7.0

Please check the videos here (if you haven’t already):
FYI – that page URL you shared is giving a 404 so you probably should check that value one more time. You may have deleted that page. If that is the case you can simply go to your WordPress pages menu and create a new one then enter the registration shortcode (the help text for that field tells you how to create a new one if you have deleted it).
August 9, 2013 at 3:32 pm #56998johnboakMemberI am slowly making progress, but I’m still mystified by the complexity of this plugin. I got the level ID as you directed. Thank you. So I appear to have enabled free membership. The Registration page I noted [http://www.cya.org/?page_id=921] shows up on the web for me. I even used it to register one of our officers. But there is no Page called Registration in my WordPress Pages admin. Should I make a new Registration page? Where would I find the short code? Where in the plugin would assign this new page to replace the mystery Registration page? I appreciate your help in this. I am very intimidated by the intricacies of this plug-in. My sole mission was simply to control access to a bbPress forum.
August 10, 2013 at 12:25 am #56999adminKeymasterAll those pages actually gets created for your automatically when you first install the plugin. I am not sure what happened on your site but somehow the registration page got deleted from your pages menu. Which is causing this issue for you.
This is what you do to recreate the registration page…
1) Go to the following interface:
WP eMember Settings -> Pages/Forms Settings
2) Find the field called “Registration Page”
3) Read the help text for this field and do what it says. Did you read the help text for this field before by any chance?
Were you able to re-create your registration page using the above info?
