Problem with Product Specific Instructions

I created some products that contain product specific instructions. This is the content of that field:

“To schedule your first session, click on this link [https://www.timetrade.com/book/XXXXX]. It will take to my online calendar, TimeTrade.”

I then added the {product_specific_instructions} tag to the Buyer’s e-mail body as instructed.

When I tested this product, I got the following in the portion of the e-mail corresponding to the special instructions:

“To schedule your first session, click on this link Click Here to Download. It will take to my online calendar, TimeTrade.” Where the words “Click Here to Download” are a live link that takes me to the TimeTrade calendar.

This is not appropriate. But I am not sure how to fix it. Can anyone help?

Have you enabled the following option from the advanced settings of the plugin?

Use Custom Anchor Text for the Thank You page Download Link

What happens if you turn that feature off?
