Problem with eMember

Hello,

I’m having a problem with eMember and I think it has something to do with the integration with WordPress.

I’m trying to set up my free content page, so I’m logged into my wordpress admin page as administrator. I have my free content page set up as protected in my eMember member level setup. And, I have all the boxes checked under the ‘WordPress user integration settings’ in my eMember settings.

But, when I try to preview the free content page, it asks me to login and when I try to login with my wordpress administration username and password, I get a message ‘Wrong username or password’.

What am I doing wrong? Shouldn’t I be able to view the page if I’m already logged in as administrator? And, shouldn’t I be able to log in with my wordpress login credentials?

Yes, you will be able to use your WordPress user credentials but have you imported the WordPress user into eMember? If you haven’t then it doesn’t know about this account. Go to “Members” -> “Import WP Users” tab and import your user to eMember and then it will recognize the member.
