Problem after upgrading member from free to paid

Hi, I have a problem that I’ve set up my site to have much partial page content hidden from free members. Now I’m finding that when a member upgrades from free to paid, they cannot see their paid content on these pages because the plugin doesn’t remove them from the free category when it registers them as a paid member. I have to manually remove the member from the free membership category before they can see their premium content.

Is the only solution to go through all my work and change the way I protect that content?

Hi, yes, I changed the shortcode method to “protected for”. I will know to do this in future, thanks.
