Hello, would it be a fool’s errand to attempt a hack to allow for price variation of a single product based on, for example, product size?
I’m interested in using wp simple paypal together with NextGEN gallery to sell prints with the option to buy different print sizes (with different prices) of the same image. I can create a button via paypal with this size/price variation that will display with nextGEN thumbnails (using [ nggallery id=x template=wp-eStore ] shortcode and placing paypal button html in image description field) but then of course I lose use of the integrated shopping cart by not using wp-simple-paypal’s own add to cart.
I’m coming at this from scratch and so thought it worth my while ask if that’s a reasonable goal, or if there’s a reason it would be difficult to accomplish!?
many thanks for any input!
If you are good with Javascript and PHP then it souldn’t be that hard to implement. You could probably see an example of how it is done in the WP eStore plugin:
