Hi Everyone,
Just a quick question. All of our products are digital and therefore there is no need for a Shopper to purchase more than one of any given item. Is it it possible to prevent them from inadvertently adding duplicates? Every year we get some, not too many, situations where we issue a refund to the user for accidentally purchasing more than one of the same item. This might also help with the item quantity in the shopping cart from incrementing when a shopper refreshes the page.

Added an option for this in the settings menu now. If you do not want to show the quantity in the shopping cart simply check the “Do Not Show Quantity in Shopping Cart” checkbox in the general settings of eStore.
This should prevent your customers from buying multiple copies of the same item.

Hi,
I noticed that checking the “Do Not Show Quantity in Shopping Cart” checkbox in the general settings of eStore prevents shopper from adding the same digital item in shopping cart more than once, as long as I use shortcode like [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1].
However, when I use a text link like “http://www.your-domain.com/?wp_eStore_add_to_cart=1”, shopper can still add the same digital item in shopping cart more than once.
Is there any way to make “Do Not Show Quantity in Shopping Cart” work for a text link as well?
