Prevent a discount code to be used for memberships

How can I create an eStore discount code that only works for my products, but not my memberships? I want to provide my customers with a discount code they can use for buying anything in my store, except for buying a membership.

Currently, exceptions are not available as conditional coupons. You could, as a workaround, still use the eMember PayPal buttons concurrently, with eStore as they are not affected by coupon usage.
