I have this text appearing under my title for an external page link:
{pp_social}
I cant figure out why it is appearing there. Any help is appreciated.
I have another plugin installed that handles my social media but it is not creating the code. It says it’s a prettyphoto css when I inspect with firebug. I don’t see any settings under Prettyphoto that have to do with social.
Thanks,
iso

November 13, 2012 at 3:05 am #51271wpCommerceModeratorLooks like your theme is also using the prettyPhoto library:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="http://streamsofdreams.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/mondeo/skins/css/prettyphoto.css?ver=2.0.5" />
Is there any option in your theme to turn it off?
November 13, 2012 at 9:29 pm #51272isonychiaMemberI don’t see an option in the control panel for the theme to turn off pretty photo.
So prettyphoto is a plugin thats BUILT into my theme and it’s part of wp Lightbox Ulimate?
What do I do?
Thanks,
iso
November 14, 2012 at 4:33 am #51273wpCommerceModeratorYes, prettyPhoto is a lightbox library. But with lightbox ultimate you can pop up a specific image or video using a shortcode whereas in your theme probably it’s set that any image you click on your site will pop up with lightbox effect. This is why it’s going to conflict when you use a prettyPhoto lightbox ultimate shortcode.
We do have various options to play media files using other libraries. But you are using the “external page display” option. There is only one lightbox ultimate shortcode for that option.

November 16, 2012 at 3:38 am #51275wpCommerceModeratorI believe this will happen only when you use a lightbox ultimate prettyPhoto shortcode. You can’t remove the text because it’s not coming from lightbox ultimate plugin. Your theme is automatically doing the popup.
You shouldn’t be having issues with videos because there are several options in the plugin to play a media file. If you can tell me what type of video you want to pop up I can point you to the right documentation.
