I just installed the plug in and when I tried to activate it, I got the following message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/../../../../../../home/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/showmeso:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/showmeso/public_html/gooberguides.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/wp_pdf_stamp1.php on line 2
Prior to even purchasing the PDF stamper I installed and checked the Minimum Requirements Checker and it seemed to report all was okay.
Thanks… Rick

January 3, 2012 at 2:09 pm #26489serhatugurMemberOn my settings page, just below the “Download Validation Script Location” section, I got a message that reads:
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(../../../wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/vhosts/downloads.nbastuffer.com:/sh_sys/php-5.2.17/lib/php/) in /vhosts/downloads.nbastuffer.com/http/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_general_settings_menu.php on line 636
How can I get rid of this message?
January 3, 2012 at 7:40 pm #26490wzpModeratorThis is a known issue, caused by hosting provider security restrictions…
You may safely ignore the error, for now.
January 3, 2012 at 9:16 pm #26491serhatugurMemberThanks, I feel better now. Will it disappear if I move to a dedicated server?
January 4, 2012 at 5:20 am #26492wzpModeratorIt has to do with the hosting provider being over zealous with the security settings for PHP.
January 12, 2012 at 9:30 am #26493nicliMemberI installed the stamper having the same problem,
” requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.”
please send the solution to my email, thank you!
January 12, 2012 at 3:56 pm #26494wzpModeratorThe solution to the problem you just described is to install the IonCube loader; and any other missing prerequisites…
January 12, 2012 at 5:26 pm #26495nicliMemberI am using bluehost, whether you want to install ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so ….
January 13, 2012 at 5:14 am #26496adminKeymasterWe don’t install IonCube. This why we make it clear that the PDF Stamper plugin has a minimum requirement and we also provide a plugin so that you can check your site before purchasing the plugin. Please read the details from this page carefully:
