While updating my core eMember plugin, I thought about the addon plugins. Do they follow the same update procedure as the core? How do I go about checking what the latest version is? It seems only the core plugin latest versions are available. I can’t find the addon latest version when viewing it. Please advise, thanks.

Yes.
Addons very rarely get updated; compared to the “core” plugins, that they support. It is always a good idea to update the addons; if the “core” plugin has undergone a major version update, from what you were previously running.
I can’t find the addon latest version when viewing it
After you download the addon, look inside the .zip file (or the WP plugin directory) for a .php file that matches the name of the addon. You will find a comment line, near the top of the file, that states the version number of the addon.
