Please help : Urgent | Enable Transaction Result Display not working

Hi I am using “Enable Transaction Result Display” option in the e cart setting as per instruction given on your website. After making the payment,

1. buyer is getting email with the name of “WordPress” : I would like to change this to my site name.

2. “Customize the Return Button Text ” is not working. It still showing “Return to Merchant”

3. On Return page, there are no download link given.

Hi Do I need to do any setting on “Instant Payment Notification (IPN)” page.

Any URL I need to enter for the same.

You do not need to do any settings in your PayPal for this to work. eStore is designed to work with the default PayPal settings.. however if you have changed the settings around how the IPN and auto return is handled then I need to know cause a wrong settings will make it to know work.

For example, you have “Auto return” turned on in your PayPal profile the “Thank You” page won’t display the downloads cause when you use “auto return” PayPal doesn’t POST the payment data back to the site and without verifying the payment data the plugin wont’ give out the downloads.

I check in my paypal account and found that “Instant Payment Notification (IPN) ” setting is off. If I try to on this setting it ask me to put url.

Please advice…

Okay now that makes sense… something had to be missing for it not to work

If IPN turned off then PayPal does not send payment notification to the plugin and the plugin won’t give out the download without a payment notification.

You should be able to just turn on IPN and not specify a URL (the eStore plugin will tell paypal where to send the IPN after a payment).

Thanks for your reply, If I turn ON IPN, it ask me to enter URL also. I think it is a standard function and you can check in your paypal account too.

I am ok to enter url, however let me know what url I should enter so that it can receive, IPN.

Hmmm… maybe it varies between account type (I have a business account and I don’t need to specify the IPN URL). Anyway, use this URL:
