Play protected Amazon S3 hosted MP3 in browser?

At the moment I have mp3 downloads in zipped files so they get downloaded to the user’s computer. What I would also like to do is give them the option to play the MP3 in their browser but this also includes iPad and iPhone. The problem I have at the moment when the user clicks the mp3 file – this then opens up a new browser window and shoes the full url of that file – something I do not wish to show.

Any ideas, help or advice would be appreciated.

WP eStore is not a mp3 player so first you will need to find an mp3 player that can play the media that you are interested in. Then you can use it to embed the player on a WordPress page (which plays the mp3 file from your amazon s3 account). Then you will be able to use eStore’s Pay Per View feature to control access to this asset. This page has full details on how to set up Pay Per View feature with WP eStore:
