Tagged: shopping cart
Hello,
I would like to include the shopping cart within the page, and not the sidebar, as the page layout I am using does not include a sidebar option. Is there a way to incorporate the shopping cart into the actual page?
Thank you.
Have you tried just placing the shopping cart shortcode on the page?
Yes, I tried placing each different short code. None of them seem to work.
The short code just shows up at the bottom of the page.
You used the [wp_eStore_cart] shortcode?
If you are seeing the shortcode on the page, try editing the page using the “Text” mode (not “Visual”) and see if the shortcode contains any unwanted formatting characters.
Okay, that worked!
Thank you.
I had tried some of the shortcodes found on the “Cheat Sheet” but they did not work.
This one did the trick.
Thanks again.
The short code works! I was having a similar issue. The shopping cart widget wasn’t working on either IE11 or Firefox, at least for my theme. So I entered the shortcode in a Text widget, and it works great now! shortcode: [wp_eStore_cart]
