Place fancy display products to the side of the product grid

Is it possible to have 4-5 products in the product grid and place a php code for a fancy display on the right side of the grid?

It depends on how wide your page is. Is it wide enough to where it can fit all those? Are you okay with doing some CSS tweaks yourself?
