    Hi,

This post if for informational purposes to other users. I found out today that wp-estore was displaying a false basket / cart empty message even though items were added.

I thought this was a PHP session error as explained here

    https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/php-session-not-working-correctly

But in fact it was a conflict with the WordPress plugin “wSecure Authentication”. Since disabling that, the PayPal basket works as expected.

Hope this helps other people with the same issue.

    Thanks

Thank you for the update. What was most likely happening is that the other plugin was corrupting the PHP session on the site. Some plugin developers do not check the session before starting a new one which can cause this issue.

I will put this plugin in our conflicting plugin list:

The operation system (Windows 8) shouldn’t have anything to do with this… its mainly the browsers that can play a part in this kind of behavior. Post a link to the page where you have the purchase buttons so we can check it.

I have a feeling that your security settings on this PC is set to not accept cookies. Do a Google search to find out the optimum/default settings for that option and use the default settings (I am pretty sure you changed this settings in your PC).

Also, try unchecking the “Enable Fancy Redirection On Checkout” option from eStore settings.
