    Hi,

Ive changed one of my galleries from template 9 to template 10 and now get the following message when i click on an image ” The requested content can n ot be loaded, pleased try again later”.

There is nothing showing as being processed in the gallery processing page.

    Thanks,

    Graeme

    Please check your server logs.

Let us know what you find.

    Just a few quick questions:

    1) Are you on a shared hosting setup?

    2) What is your server’s PHP memory_limit value?

have no idea how to check logs

You can ask your host provider to show you where your server log files are.

    Hi,

    1) Yes its a shared hosting setup

    2) PHP memory limit is 128MB

Just to clarify template 9 works fine

    Thanks,

    Graeme

Based on your server, the chances are that you are running out of memory.

Just to clarify template 9 works fine

The main distinction between template 9 and 10 is that 10 creates a full-sized watermarked version of the lightbox preview photo. (Hence this requires a lot more processing memory than template 9)

Ask your host provider to increase the value of the PHP memory_limit to 256M.

    Hi,

My host has finally increased my php memory limit to 1024M and I still have the same issue, not sure if it is linked but I also have a support ticket raised for templates 9 & 10 only showing lightbox view and not a preview page when an image is clicked in a gallery no matter what the setting

    Thanks,

    Graeme

Please show me the exact gallery/image I need to click on which will reproduce the following issue you are referring to:

“The requested content can not be loaded, pleased try again later”

    Hi,

Appears to be working now, when applied it must take a while to complete the gallery if there is a large number of photographs, as it appears on the first ones but get the error message further down the gallery until left for a while.

    Thanks for your help,

    Graeme

mmm, not so sure it is sorted. Applied template 10 to another gallery 15 minutes ago that only contains 35 photos and its still coming up with the message “The requested content can not be loaded, pleased try again later”

    this is the gallery:

    Thanks

It is because you have a a bunch of errors like the following:

    “NetworkError: 404 Not Found – [http://autosportpics.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller/22/zoom_TourAuto14-7.jpg]”

I think that the reason that file does not exist is because your server cannot handle the processing of it because it involves creating a watermarked version of the full-sized hi-res version of the photo.

Can you please confirm if your server is on a shared host?

Yes the server is a shared host

I think this is the reason for your problem. Shared servers will not be able to handle the processing required for producing a hi-res watermarked image.

OK, I’ll have to stick to gallery 9 then :(

    Thanks,

    Graeme
