Photo seller troubleshoot with quantity

I have problem with input in quantity check box, because I want to allow to my costumers to put not only whole numbers but also real ones, because we are selling wallpapers too, so we need to have that possibility to change that. Please, this is very important to us. I hope that this can be fixed. Thanks!

Yes, just like that. And when they try to put quadrature(m2) they only can put whole number and that is the main problem. Is there any chance to put there real number?

I am not sure what you mean by real numbers. Quantity is usually always a number like 1,2,3,4 etc. The plugin needs to be able to do mathematical operation (like multiply) using that number. So I am not sure how it can work without entering a numerical number in the quantity field.

When I said real number I ment etc. 1.5 or 2.5, not 1 or 2, I need to alow to my costumers to enter some value between 1 and 2, like 1.6

The quantity field needs to be a round number. So what you should be doing is, adding a NEW variation that is 1.5 times of whatever item you are offering. Then that will be shown as another option in the details page. And your customers can pick 1 quantity of that 1.5 or 2.5 size of the item.

So lets say you are offering canvas size of: 1 meter, 1.5 meter, 2 meters, 2.5 meters. Configure 4 variations so customers can pick 1 quantify of the 1 meter one or the 1.5 meter one and so on. Does that make sense?

Or perhaps, change the unit of measurement. Say if you are selling by the meter, specify the quantity in decimeters.
