Photo Seller – Photo Details Page doesnt work if no Title on media file?

Hi,

am I correct that if the image file does not have a Title given in Media Library, Photo Details Page wont work and gives only “Page not found”. But if my, say, 1st photo has a Title given, details page will open, and there I am able to click the arrow for next image and get to see Details page. (whether that specific image has a Title or not)

BUT if I 1st click the image without Title, all I have is Page not found…?

Here I have a gallery with 5 images jukka.me/store/gallery5/ 1,3,5th have a title but 2nd and 4th dont. Could you try it out to see what I am trying to tell Sorry I wish I could tee´ll the issue more clear

Hi Jukka,

I didn’t see any issues. All of the photos in that gallery were viewable and I was able to add any to the cart.

Are you still seeing the “page not found” issue? Do you have a cache plugin running and if so try deleting the cache.

Also try a different browser (or icognito mode) in case your browser is caching the old page.

Hi Peter, thanks very much for quick reply. Sorry I am a bit on the go until tomorrow, but just double checking: So if you open the gallery page and then 1st click the 2nd image (a map) does that open to you as if you would click the 1st ?(bird)- for me unfortunately no. BUt if I 1st click the bird and then use arrow to move to next one (map) it is ok.

I’ve been testing with Firefox, Edge and Ipad Safari…

(and I need to check the cache plugin…- thanks for the tip )

Hi,

Ok I can see what you mean now.

If you click on the bird first and then use the pagination arrows inside the details there is no issue but if you click on map photo directly from gallery page the issue arises.

Can you tell me how did you get into a situation where the photo title is blank?

I’m asking because when you upload the photo the wordpress uploader should automatically set the title even if the photo meta data title is empty (in which case it will set the title to the photo filename)

ps: I will also send you an email with an updated tweak to the plugin which will hopefully prevent this issue.

thanks! for the reply, the e-mail and the FIX ! Highly appreciated!

I (normally) do not use build-in WP media uploader, but WP/LR SYNC plugin by Jordy Meow… might that cause the issue?

Anyway thank you so much for taking care of this and perfect and extremely fast service!
