Tagged: upload
I seem to be having problems with picture upload for my gallery. It comes up with “500 – Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.”
Can you please help?
A 500 internal server error is usually caused by very specific server issues. This usually requires the host support people to look into it.
Can you ask your host provider to troubleshoot this on their end and check the server logs and tell why the 500 error is occurring?
Based on their answer we will be able to better understand if there is anything we can do on our end.
Hi, thanks for your help. Host support said log file came up with this –
PHP Warning: copy(E:Domainsggraduatesonthecatwalk.co.ukuserhtdocs/wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller/2/dz5bv1uwea/Graduates_on_the_catwalk_31.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in E:Domainsggraduatesonthecatwalk.co.ukuserhtdocswp-contentpluginswp-photo-sellermodelsWPSGalleryItem.php on line 295
That’s just a warning and it should not produce a 500 internal server error.
I will send you an email to get login details so I can take a look.
Hi Peter, thanks for your help. It seems to be working fine now since I changed the server from windows to linux OS.
Ok great to hear it’s all working now.
