Photo Seller – GDPR Consent checkbox

As part of the checkout process, we would like to offer the customer the option to consent to us sending them our newsletter, how can we do this?

We need the consent to be compliant with GDPR

Have you considered using the “Double Opt-In” feature of the MailChimp integration? They will receive an Opt-In email, asking them to click a confirmation link, if they want to join your newsletter list.

Hi – how do I add a MailChimp signup box on to the Your Shopping Cart page in WP Photo Seller? Ideally, it would sit below the I agree to the terms and conditions box that you already have on the page.

Couldn’t you add that to the terms and conditions as a new section (explaining what happens after a checkout on your site)? Having too many checkboxes there look a little ugly (different people seem to want different checkboxes). So if adding the info to the terms page works (explaining what happens after the transaction) then it cuts down on the number of different chekcboxes you need. If a new checkbox is really needed then we will add one.

Thanks a new checkbox would be great. The person using the site needs to specifically agree to the privacy policy as part of the new regulations.
