Photo Gallery – free plugin no longer allowing user to click on gallery photo

I’m using both the paid plugin to sell photos. And the free plugin for simply displaying photos not for sale. The issue is on the free plugin. For some reason the individual photo view is no longer working. In other words, I see the gallery. But when I click on an individual photo in the gallery it doesn’t reveal a larger photo. What am I missing. My site is scottpbenn.com

Hi, It’s because you have deleted and/or changed the slugs of the originally created pages.

This unfortunately will affect the plugin’s operation because it relies on certain pages/slugs being there.

So go to your trash (for pages) and restore those pages related to the photo gallery plugin.

We are working on modifying the architecture to avoid issues such as these and to make it more flexible but for now you will need to restore the old pages and slugs and things will work as expected.

I don’t have them in the trash. So I guess I “changed the slugs.” Can you please explain what the “slugs” are and how I would have changed? I am wondering if I can repair or if I have to rebuild the galleries from scratch. What is odd is that I when I don’t click Preview Photo via Page, the light box preview works fine.

First try deactivating and reactivating the Simple Photo Gallery plugin.

This should re-create any missing pages.
