I would like to have sequential order/invoice numbers. What I am getting is numbers like this “0385945055C3F”. Is there a setting that I am overlooking?
No, this number comes from the payment gateway. You can use that number to search for the transaction in PayPal for example.
I am using a manual gateway. As an enhancement request, I would like to see a sequential order/invoice number (bean counters like that), and another field, if applicable, to have the gateway transaction id. It is an easy fix and a reasonable request. Database fields are free.
