personalized page for each member

is there any way for each member to have their own page where i can post things that are relevant only to them? So that after they log in they will be redirected to their own unique page.

Nope, you can’t have a separate page for each member. It can only be done at a membership level. So each membership level can have a unique page and when a member that belongs to that membership level logs in he/she will be redirected to that page.

While creating a membership level in WP eMember, you can specify a different page URL for each membership in the “Redirect after login” field.

I’m fairly certain it’s not what you have in mind, but by using Mingle (plugin) all of my members have a social media style profile page with a wall I can write messages on. I’m suspecting thats more “open to interaction” than you want to be though. I’m really enjoying mingle.
