I have an odd problem with eStore that I have not seen anyone mention on this site that seems related to the PDT & Enhanced checkout with Digital downloads.
I am using “buy now” button on a list of “deals” customers can pay for. After Purchasing these “coupons” (is a simple snippet of HTML generated by PHP with a unique ID embedded) we send the coupon to the customer via email and paypal returns them to the Thank You page with the PDT information embedded in the URL.
We use the PDT info (transaction info) to render the coupon onscreen and provide transaction results for them if the transaction is successful and automatically book the sale with partnering vendors.
If I buyer logs onto PayPal and uses their Paypal acct to pay for the coupon, all works perfectly. Transaction executes and PDT data is successfuly passed back via the URL get request string.
HOWEVER.. is a customer does not have a PayPal acct and elects to pay with the “Bill me Later” Debit or Credit Card” option as a the PDT data does not get returned . The customer DOES receive verification email and the seller DOES get the notification BUT the thankyou page DOES NOT get returned the embedded PDT Get request info to display the coupon, transaction results and book the purchase.
PLEASE advise.. am a pulling my hair out on this one.
I am using version 4.9.5 of eStore on WP 3.0.5.
