Hi,
I’m getting ready to migrate my site to a new server. Will I need a new license for PDF stamper? or will I have to change some settings?
the site name will remain the same, just new server.
I have PDF Stamper, eStore, Affiliate…and IDK, mostly everything you sell.
Thank you, Pam
No you don’t need to new license if you are moving. Simply deactivate the current license from this site then activate it again after the move (you can do this from the “Product license” menu of the plugin).
Thank you so much. I did run into an issue of my own making, of course..
I got confused an forgot about your instruction here. I moved without deactivating the license. I’m soooo sorry to make this your problem now!
I’ve moved the site successfully and just need get PDF Stamper going again on the new server but of course the stamper is not working.
Can you tell me what I should do now?
Thank you so much in advance.
Pam
(I wish there were an “embarrassed” emoticon I could place here!)
Please leave a note on the contact form with the explanation, and Ivy will get you going, when she gets in later (GMT +10).
Thanks so much! I left her a note.
Pam
I too will be moving to a new server. In fact I just did and will be doing so again but I’m not yet using PDF Stamper.
So my question is: can I bring up PDF stamper on the new site using a temporary domain name, then switch to my permanent domain name? Will it be as simple as deactivating and reactivating?
Thanks so much for helping me out.
Yes, you can deactivate the license from the currently installed domain then activate on the new install. Go to the “product license” menu of the PDF stamper dashboard and you will be able to deactivate the license.
