Tagged: UTF-8 font
I want that characters like ü,ö,č,ž etc. (from my customers’ names) be stamped correctly. Therefore I turned on the “Use UTF-8 Font” option in PDF Stamper settings. When I manually stamp the PDF, it works fine, except for when I enter such characters. I get the same result (strange characters printed) no matter whether the option “Use UTF-8 Font” is on or off. I tried repeatedly. Any suggestions?
You say that when you manually stamp a file, the characters are “ok,” but “look strange” as you are typing them in; is that correct? What is the text encoding setting on your browser? For example; on Firefox it should be “Unicode.” Similarly, the encoding for your WP site should also be UTF-8. Also, check the character sets & font support of your O/S.
Only English characters are supported by this plugin (this is explained on the landing page of the plugin). I have sent you an email for it.
