    Hi,

I’m currently selling one ebook from my website with the lastest version of WP Stamp (4.6.0) and WP eStore (8.0.2), using paypal integration with eStore here [http://bit.ly/2DsBOCU]. Whereas stamping works perfectly for the name’s customer and other stuff (the date of purchase) the plugin cant stamp the customer’s address with the tag {customer_adress}.

Do you know how can i fix this as customer as enforced to fill their address with paypal, i dont understand.

Thks for your help. As far as i search in the forum, this issue has never been raised.

    Jérémy

PS : this is my short code in french :

“Ce produit a été acheté par {customer_name} ({customer_email}). Usage personnel exclusivement. {customer_address}”

Does manually stamping the file work?

And have you tried MANUALLY retyping the {customer_address} tag into the settings?

And finally, which eStore shortcode are you using to sell the PDF file?

For you first question : Yes, it works.

For your second question : Yes almost sure, both retyping manually and copy paste from your web site (https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-pdf-stamper/how-to-configure-the-settings-menu-68#footer_variables

PS: you have written “adress” with 1 “d”, this is a mistake ?

For your third question, this is my shortcode :

    [wp_eStore_buy_now_button id=11]

    Thank you

And you have the correct settings set, so that customer details will be passed to the PDF Stamper?

Yes of course. This box is checked with no doubt.

WP Stamp work perfectly except for customer address.

There is a problem with Paypal ?

EDIT : when i look at customer’s information in Estore plugin, there is no information stated in “Address”. I think Estore is not collecting this information.

Well, yeah; PayPal does not provide shipping addresses for digital products.

Yeah here the point. I think Paypal ignore that i’m selling a digital product. Actually, addresses are collected by Paypal => When i received an automatic email from Paypal after a purchase, the physical address is clearly stated. (Paypal think that i will send a “physical product” by the way”)

And, finally, why are you offering a specific plugin and tag for digital product able to collect customer address if the plugin cant actually stamp this information ?

    I’m pretty confused.

WP eStore and PDF stamper are completely two separate plugins that work on its own and provide separate functionalities. They have features that makes sense for it to have.

When you are integrating them together, you will need to change some stuff based on your business needs.

By default, WP eStore doesn’t force customers to give their address for digital product checkout. It make sense to behave this way for most users. In your case you need to collect address so you can stamp it which is fine too. You just need to tell eStore to collect address for all checkouts. The following post tells you how you can tell estore to force collect address during paypal checkout:
