PDF Stamper works great with the manual stamp test. It does not work when I test with Paypal. Paypal completes the process and my thank you page displays with the correct encrypted links. The file downloads but it is not stamped. I do have the “Stamp the PDF File” checkbox selected. I am not receiving any errors from any source. It’s just not working. Please help. I’m going live with this site next week.
December 7, 2010 at 11:51 pm #27175amin007ParticipantWhat version of PDF stamper are you using?
Please reset the debug files then do a test transaction with debug option enabled and share the log files. This post will explain more on the debug option:

December 8, 2010 at 1:17 am #27178amin007ParticipantThank you.. here is the issue:
Source file type check… is file type PDF return value: 0
Source file is not a PDF file so no stamping necessary for this file!
The plugin does a check to see if the File Type is PDF before requesting a stamp. Looks like this file is failing on that check. Not sure why the regular expression is failing to detect the .pdf extension of the file. What version of PHP are you using on your server?
December 8, 2010 at 1:38 am #27179vfontjrMemberPHP Version 5.2.14
The file name doesn’t come through in your post. What file do I need to modify?
December 8, 2010 at 1:49 am #27180vfontjrMemberI am assuming the file is eStore_post_payment_processing_helper. I commented out the code and now receive the download file cannot be found. The stamped file does not get created.
December 8, 2010 at 1:52 am #27181vfontjrMemberHere’s the exact error: Download file cannot be found. Please let us know. Thank you!
December 8, 2010 at 2:39 am #27182vfontjrMemberHere’s the contents of download_manager_debug after I commented out the code you asked me to:
[12/08/2010 2:35 AM] – Advisory : Log file reset.
[12/08/2010 2:38 AM] – Status : Unresolved DL file path = Error! [12/08/2010 2:38 AM] – Status : Resolved DL file path = Error! [12/08/2010 2:38 AM] – FAILURE : Error on file_exists(‘Error!’)December 8, 2010 at 3:00 am #27183vfontjrMemberAs an FYI, I changed the settings in Download manager. The results are the same. If PDF stamper is checked for the file, it will not convert and download. A download link is created, but it does not work.
December 8, 2010 at 3:14 am #27184vfontjrMemberDon’t I feel stupid! I got it working. I had a space at the end of the filename in the Digital Product URL field. I couldn’t see it of course and didn’t matter for testing downloads but it does matter for stamping PDF files.
Sorry to put you through any trouble.
December 8, 2010 at 5:33 pm #27185vfontjrMemberMay I make a suggestion? Is it possible to add a trim() function to remove trailing spaces to the php file that processes the pdf file? I’m sure I’m not the only one with fat finders who will add a trailing space by mistake and then pay dearly troubleshooting for the error.
December 8, 2010 at 11:18 pm #27186amin007ParticipantLOL… thank you for the suggestion. Added a trim function to get rid of the trailing space.
