here is a definite improvement – I am looking at three TAABM PDFs and DAW files downloading on this desktop and my other computer (notebook with different email account etc).

However, and this may be because I only have a DSL internet connection: If I try to go to TheABCD.com and order more “test” products to “stress test” the system, I can’t get to any ABCD.com page. At the bottom left in the Google browser it says “Waiting for available socket . . “ (see attached).

My concern is that if more than six customers try to order a product, additional customers and visitors will see “waiting for available socket” and wont be able to get to TheABCD.com, let alone order a product. Is this issue due to my DSL connection, or is there something still problematic with the ecommerce functionality of my website?

Is your site being hosted on “a real” hosting provider; or are you trying to DIY with your DSL connected desktop?

    Hi,

I am using a real hosting provider: inmotionhosting.com/vps-hosting

I am using their virtual private server” “VPS-1000HA-S”

I only mentioned my desktop and the DSL I have here because I thought it may have something to do with the problem.

    Thank you,

You shouldn’t have any issue with that setup. The server maybe denying connection to you because your computer (ONE computer) has opened up too many connection. It is likely a security thing for the server (where it doesn’t let one computer make more than X number of connections). In a real world, your customers are going to be using separate computers to interact with your site. So I would say wait and see if you get any complaint from a user.
