I am using PDF Stamper, estore, integrating with paypal. I have an ebook store. I want people to be able to “add to cart” several books. When they checkout with multiple books, PDF stamper does not mail the download links to the books.
If I just “add to cart” and buy one book no problem. But it will not email the download links for any books if I buy two or more at a time.
Do I have to sell one book at a time? This would greatly increase my paypal per transaction fees.
I know about adding the code to the thank you page for multiple items. I cannot get that working, but that is a different subject. I want all of the download links for multiple books to be emailed to the customer.
This is NOT wanting to sell multiple books with one buy it now button, this is selling one ebook file per button. Adding several to a cart and purchasing 2,3,4 books at a time. Separate buttons, Separate ebook files, Separate pdf stamping for each book, all in one transaction.

I AM able to “add to cart” TWO books, purchase them and I am emailed the download links for both ebooks. GREAT!
The problem I am narrowing it down to is any PDF that has a larger page count does not work at all.
PDF “Size” does not seem to be a problem. I can buy a 1,400 KB file fine. (137 pages)
When I try to buy a book (Separate or together)that is 477 KB (241 pages) or 616 KB (235 pages) it will not come through the e-mail. (These are two that I tested that did not work)
The strange thing is, if I modify the item that is NOT working and paste in the “Digital Product URL” of a smaller book, all of a sudden I get an email with the new (smaller) file. However many times I paid for it, they all come through now, stamped just fine. (But it is the smaller new book that I pasted into the “Digital Product URL” of the item)
Is there a PAGE limit that the PDF stamper can handle? I have read where their was NOT a size limit problem.
Also the funny thing is, I can MANUALLY stamp any of these (Larger file) books, and they work just fine. They will just not work when I purchase them and have them mailed to me.

I can manually stamp these two (241 & 235) page books in about 20 seconds. So I do not believe that it is a PayPal script time out problem.
February 18, 2012 at 10:24 pm #42113domcMemberSame problem here. I have tried all the suggestions that have been offered in the FAQ and on this forum and still can’t get it to work. I am narrowing it down to my server that is running the website. There may not be enough memory allocated for large .PDF’s to be stamped.
My PDF is 174 pages (a book) and 9.56 MB. My memory limit on server is 64MB. I don’t think i should be having the same problems.
Any ideas anybody?
February 19, 2012 at 6:57 am #42114adminKeymaster@Mark Chartier, What is your RAM limitation (allowable memory for PHP application) for this site? Which hosting company are you using? Do you have the “Enable PDF File Encryption” option checked in the settings menu of the PDF stamper?
@domc, please increase your memory limit to 128MB and then do a manual stamp and let me know what you see. Do you have the “Enable PDF File Encryption” option checked in the settings menu of the PDF stamper?
