PDF Stamper did not encrypt file

Please HELP,

I purchased this product specifically for the:

Encrypt PDF Files Automatically, encrypt the stamped PDF files to prevent users from being able to copy, modify or print the content of the file.

However, When I send the file to a friend they can open it fine if they have the license key?? If its encrypted, shouldn’t it only be able to be read on that device?? This is why I wanted to purchase this product.

Also, it only has one license key, or the email of the person purchased it. So that license key can be shared on the internet and they can email the file and open it anywhere.

I thought by the detailing of the product it: encrypted the file, making it unable to be read on any other device but the one its downloaded onto.

Please help, how do i make the file encrypted like it says on the website.

“…you can password protect the stamped PDF files with the customer’s email address and encrypt the PDF files to prevent users from being able to copy, modify or print the content of the file.” means that you can assign a password so that the file is read only; and that selecting and copying text will be disabled. It DOES NOT mean the file is locked to a particular device.

The license key provided is to keep YOU from copying the plugin and installing it on more than one site at a time.
