PDF Stamper – "cannot be decoded with this version of ionCube Loader"

I have already downloaded the minimum requirements plugin and tested my site; it most definitely meets every one of the minimum requirements. Strange thing I’ve noticed is that the plugin will not work with anything other than ionCube Loader v. 5.3. I originally tried updating to the most recent version (5.6), and the min. requirement plugin started returning a red “X” for ionCube. When I reverted to 5.3, it showed up as a green checkmark again…

I’m not really sure what else to do here. Before updating to the most recent version of PDF Stamper, it was working just fine. Is there an archive somewhere of older, more compatible versions that I can use?

Here is the exact wording of the error:

Fatal error: The file /var/www/vhosts/xxxx/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/pdf_stamper_configs.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0

As I’ve mentioned though, I definitely have the correct version of ionCube installed.

Hi, when installing that version, here is the error I’m getting:

Site error: the file /var/www/vhosts/xxxx/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/pdf_stamper_configs.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.

Switching back to 5.3 gives me the previous error.

Keep using the updated version of PHP (don’t switch back). Your ioncube loader on the server needs an update also (so it works correctly with the updated version of PHP). Please request your hosting provider to upgrade or install the latest version of Ioncube and then you will be fine.

Hi. When trying to activate the pdf stamp plug in I am provided with the following error – Fatal error. I have run the content checker and it provides green check marks against the IonCube version. The PHP version is given as 5.3.28. I bought the Stamper as part of a bundle. I cannot update it yet as I cannot install it. Can you assist please ? Thanks

Your server is using a very old version of the IonCube loader. Please request your hosting provider to upgrade the Ioncube loader on your server (its free). Activate the plugin after they have upgraded IonCube loader on your site and you won’t see this issue.

I wrote to my hostin provider that there is probably problem with iocube. They wrote to me that they have updated iocube for version 5.1.7.

What can I do? Can you help me please?

I don’t know what version they were previously using. But I thing that they did update some time ago, not after I wrote to them. So I think that problem is with version 5.1.7. , because in my admin, when I try to activate plugin WP PDF Stamper, it still shows me an error messages which I wrote in my previous post. So where is the problem? What Can I do to have functional Wp PDF Stamper?

What version of PHP are you using? Someone might have to send you a version of PDF stamper that matches your configuration.

The following error is the main issue. I suspect there is a bit of server config related issue which is preventing the stamper from working (the stamper has extra requirements and stuff due to a couple of libraries it has to use).

Your open_basedir config item is missing the “realpath” in there.

Which hosting provider are you using? Which plan?

Are you using the PDF Stamper for PHP5.4+?

I don’t know what version of PDF Stamper I am using and for what PHP version. I don’t know if I using PDF Stamper for PHP5.4+ I just bought your plugin bundle few days ago. Actually right now I don’t use PDF Stamper. I have this plugin only install and activate.

My hosting provider is Wedos and my plan is NoLimit Extra. But this provider is from Czech Republic so I think that you don’t know about him.
