I am using your wordpress eStore plugin on my site [http://hellcatentertainment.com]
I have digital zip content as well as posters for sale of various models. The way my business works is I give the models commission based on sales of their product. The easiest way I was tracking sales was through a monthly Paypal report that I can download into Excel. Upon running a report with paypal I get to see the customer name and all their information, but there is nothing letting me know what they bought. The “SUBJECT” field in the report just shows “ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” where as my paid member site plugin would show the description of my Paypal button in this same report. Under “ITEM TITLE” it just says “Shopping Cart” in the report.
So there is nothing indicating what was bought. Is there anything I can do to make it so either under “SUBJECT” or “ITEM TITLE” there would be something in the report I can easily sort out. It is easy for me to sort my paid membership site income from everything else, but no way to divide the sales for each model on the individual store items. I need to compare to the e-mails based on customer name, cut and paste and divide manually. The site is growing so as more customers are purchasing, this has become a tedious job. Any help appreciated! Thank you!

I would like know a little more details on what report you are running. Are you running a summary report in your PayPal account? Where in your PayPal account are you going for this?
I would also like to recommend a solution that will help you do this revenue sharing easily (this option is a little more automated than what you are doing). Check the following post to learn more:

The report I get from Paypal is I click the link to the REPORTS section then on that page I click DOWNLOAD HISTORY and select the previous full calendar month as the date range.
I get a .csv file which I open in Excel. There is no details in that report regarding what was purchased. Just says “SHOPPING CART” and I get their IP Address.
But let me look into that revenue sharing. I was unaware that existed. Love your product so far. Easy to setup and use. I just need to figure out the easiest reports on my end. Thanks again!
November 9, 2014 at 10:55 pm #64216DSFMemberThis question is only half-answered! Has any progress been made regarding the item displaying as ShoppingCart? This is in the PayPal My Account/History/Download History/”Completed Payments” report.
When I create products in WP eStore inside WordPress, they have names and numbers and other details, but when the PayPal report generates, the “Item Title” for all of them is “Shopping Cart.” There seems to be no other field in this report to customize on our end inside WordPress.
I know we can look inside the WP eStore for stats that say exactly how many of each product was sold, but we’re still kind of guessing at the paypal part, and some of our products have the same price. It is very inconvenient. Please help us!
November 9, 2014 at 11:00 pm #64217adminKeymasterIt should definitely show you the item names in your PayPal account also. You are using the standard PayPal gateway correct (not the paypal pro)? Can you please tell me the steps you are doing in your PayPal account so I can do those exact same steps.
