Here is the link to my page with the payment buttons: http://jacksonfahnestock.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1386&action=edit; I checked my PHP session settings and they seem to be o.k. We’ve recently had a full moon here in San Francisco–could this be a factor?
August 26, 2010 at 9:20 pm #23619cdarkinsMemberHi!
Thank you for your fast reply!
The site is
I think it has something to do with the server/hoster
I can see that the maindomainzone is gameaudio.net without www.
But when I change WP’s General-Settings to without www it doesn’t work either.
In the DNS settings of the server I can see that there is an CName entry http://www.gameaudio.net.
Could this be the reason for my problem? What to do in that case?
If this helps I can send you an admin-login to the site or FTP-acces, just give me an adress where I can send it.
Cheers,
Charles

The details of this issue and what you should do to fix it is explained on this post (see the “PHP Session issue” section):

August 30, 2010 at 1:35 am #23623IvyMemberHi, I am glad this all got figured out.
October 9, 2010 at 1:25 am #23624dowgirlMemberI have a paid verion of the estore and installed it with no issues on a development site for a client. They didn’t go with the same hosting company, as I recommended, and now the shopping cart is empty, according the PayPal, when you try to pay. I’m a bit in the middle here and I suspect session problems but if I browse away from the cart, the product stays. it is just going to PayPal. http://annereith.com/store/products-page/ is the store page. Someone at the hosting company says everything with sessions is fine, but clearly something is wrong. It works just fine on http://annereithdev.com/store/products-page/
In the WordPress settings both the WordPress URL and site URL are http://annereith.com, but the WordPress URL is grayed out. I don’t know if this is installed in an MU implementation or not.
I can provide password.
