Hi,
I’ve set up a thanks you page and added the [wp_eStore_transaction_result:end] to display download links. Unfortunately its not displaying any links at the moment.
I’ve followed the instructions on the video:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-instant-digital-product-delivery-499
In PayPal PDT is On
Auto Return is On (apparently this must be on if PDT is On)
I’ve ticked the ‘Enable Transaction Result Display’ in the eStore settings & pasted the token into the appropriate field.
I’ve also tried with PDT off and auto return On.
Any ideas?
February 9, 2012 at 5:12 pm #41789dangermooseSpectatorSince I posted earlier, PayPal sent an email suggesting that we set up & enable IPN within PayPal… Do you know if this is something we should do?
This is from the email…
PDT’s primary function is to display payment transaction details to buyers when they are redirected back to your site upon payment completion. However, there are cases, such as with pending transactions, where you won’t receive notification of all transactions. For this reason, PayPal strongly recommends that you also enable Instant Payment Notification (IPN).

The one caveat – that Website Preferences aren’t in the same location on PayPal anymore.
To get to them, Log in to PayPal. Select “Profile” then “My Selling Tools” from the left-hand side. Finally, click “update” on the line that says “Website Preferences” in the “Selling Online” section.
That’s where you setup Auto-return, get your Key, etc.
February 9, 2012 at 9:56 pm #41791dangermooseSpectatorHi there & thanks,
Yeah, I spotted things were quite different on PayPal earlier today but found the Key and selling preferences – still no joy. I’ll have a look at the video though, I might have missed something.
Edit: Just realised thats the video I followed at first. Will try again tomorrow & fingers crossed.
February 10, 2012 at 8:40 am #41792dangermooseSpectatorAll sorted. My own fault – after a long day I had forgotten to change the PayPal details to my clients and was still using mine to test with… Doh! Download links are displaying now.
