I have set up my business paypal account as the one configured in WP Photo Seller. I pay from my personal one. The money is correctly debited from personal and deposited in business. The “Thank you for your purchase” shows contact details as my personal paypal account. The billing details however show as those from my business paypal account. Is this correct?
Why does my business name and address show under billing details?
Is your Business account a “validated business account?” Until your business account is “validated,” it will display your personal name and email information. Validation requires submitting your Taxpayer ID (or Social Security) number.
You will need to ask PayPal about this. The customer details (name, email, address etc) is received from PayPal. Whatever PayPal sends to the plugin after the transaction is what gets shown there. So something in that particular PayPal account is not fully setup. Only they will be able to look into the account’s setup and tell you what is missing.
This issue is not going to be present when your real customers do a transaction on the site (they won’t have the same account info setup related issue).
