PayPal integration not working – defaults to manual transaction

Hi there,

I have selected ‘Use PayPal Standard Checkout’ in the Payment Gateway settings, however whenever I try to make a purchase, it redirects to the manual checkout page. Can you suggest anything to resolve this issue? I have also noticed that the checkbox for ‘Send Email With Payment Instructions’ is always selected. If I deselect and save the settings then leave the page and return, it is automatically selected again. Could this be the cause of my issue? Can you suggest how I may go about fixing it?

After further investigation, this issue only seems to occur when using a coupon code… any ideas??

Does using the coupon result in a $0 cost?

Yep… thanks so much for that. I had set up a 100% discount coupon just to check the functionality of everything. It all works perfectly with a 99% discount. Thanks again!

You can’t do a checkout via PayPal with 100% discount. PayPal doesn’t allow it. This is why the plugin sends you to the manual checkout.

Your setup is working fine. If you want to test, do a test using $1 transaction. PayPal WON’T allow any transaction that is $0.
