Tagged: formatting description product
I have added a subscription product, and when you click on the button to buy, Paypal shows this error message:
The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount.
I have double checked and I have not used any commas, I have tried setting the recurring billing amount as 37 and 37.00 but both show the error message
The page with the button is http://fromburnouttobrilliant.com/online/195-2/ (scroll down!)
Could you please advise? Many thanks!
Hi, Do you have a “$” in the amount of the subscription or a space before or after the amount? Did you specify a Product Amount at the top of the “Add/Edit products page”, do this have a “$” in it?
Hi there, thanks for your reply. No I have not used $ or any other currency symbol in the amount. I have left the Product Amount at the top of the page empty, as I thought that was just for non-subscription products?
Ah mystery solved – I had used the buy now button shortcode rather than subscribe button shortcode, so it didn’t like that there was no product amount! All sorted now. Thanks again for your help!
