I am doing a 5 day trial and then a one off lifetime $27
When the Payment PayPal page shows it says
1.00 USD for the first 5 days
Then $27.00 USD for 5 years
People are finding this 5 years thing confusing.
How can I get rid of it so that it just says $27 for life or $27 one time?
Hi, you need to enter -1 in the Recurring Billing Count
field to accept one-time payment for that particular product (you can leave the Recurring Billing Cycle
field empty).
Can we take a look at the page where you have a subscription button for this product?
Thanks

PayPal doesn’t have a “lifetime” phrase/option that you can use in that wording. It will work/behave the way you want it but the wording will always be like the following (PayPal doesn’t allow you to change/customize this wording unfortunately):
$1.00 USD for the first 5 days
Then $27.00 USD for one day
Use the following values to get the above wording on PayPal:
Trial Billing Amount: 1
Trial Billing Period: 5 Days
Recurring Billing Amount: 27
Recurring Billing Cycle: 1 Day
Recurring Billing Count: -1
The above basically means that the user will be charge 1 USD for 5 days as trial then $27 once and that’s it.
