Paypal Express Checkout Question

Hi, I was just wondering if the eStore plugin is compatible with Paypal Express Checkout (it allows users to pay on your website). From what I can see it only accepts Paypal Standard, so is there an add-on or newer version of the plugin that also accepts Paypal Express Checkout? Also, I noticed that if I refresh a product page once the item is added to the cart, the quantity is automatically increased by 1. Is this normal, and if so is there a fix? Thanks!

Hi, eStore actually uses PayPal express checkout. This is what makes eStore easier to use than other cumbersome payment solutions:

What you are referring to with the “onsite checkout” is called “PayPal Website Payments Pro”. Its a premium solution from PayPal. You can add that using the payment gateway bundle plugin:

Regarding the refresh page and cart item count increase – this is normal behaviour and not a bug. It is typcially how the POST operation works when a browser page is refreshed. Please this thread:

Hi, After I bought from you the Payment Gateway Bundle plugin (40$) it is not working for the PayPal New Express Checkout with API keys. I add every date to Pro Paypal Gateway but doesn’t work and maybe your plugin doesn’t have the adaptation to this New Express Checkout…

It means the DoDirectPayment API does not support your country.

1. What country are you residing in?
2. What country and currency is your PayPal account tied to?

Are you trying to use the PayPal Pro gateway or PayPal Advanced? Do you know the different between them?
