Years ago I set up my PayPal account with shipping preferences, and perhaps that’s why the PayPal page right after clicking the “buy now” button asks the customer for their zip code to determine shipping costs. Since I’m selling a downloadable product, I don’t want PayPal to ask for their zip code – my customers will just be confused by it. I tried to find a way to remove shipping preferences from my PayPal account, but I can’t find any delete button, and the edit feature just lets me change things, but not do away with any shipping whatsoever. Is there a way to fix this within the eStore plugin that I haven’t seen?
You have enabled the PayPal profile based shipping. Turning that option will be the easiest (since you don’t need it).
Watch the following video tutorial on PayPal profile based shipping. It should show you where this interface is then you can turn if off or delete it from there.

Thank you! I was looking on the wrong screen on PayPal. Now it’s fixed. I appreciate your fast response to my inquiry.
