Hello!
I am using WP eStore version 4.4.9. I setup a 3-payment version of my product and was testing it yesterday. I set the recurring billing to be daily so I could test. The initial purchase went through perfectly, but this morning I got a Payment Verification Failed email from WP-eStore. I actually got two of them! Both emails listed the Failure Reason as:
===== Failure reason =====
Here are some more details for the exact cause of this transaction failure…
Request received for product ID: . Could not find this Product ID in the product database (please check the manage products menu and verify that you have specified the correct product ID).
I’ve searched the site and the forums for more information, but can’t find any troubleshooting for this failure reason. I did double-check the product ID; I hadn’t made any changes. Since the initial payment went through fine, I’m not sure whats causing the error!
I’m sure I just missed something somewhere; let me know if it would help to pop into the site itself.
Oh, and earlier I was having an IPN issue (fixed now, I think), and could never get the debugging process to work. My log remains empty no matter what I try. I’ve gone through your post on that several times– must be missing something!
Thanks!

“My log remains empty no matter what I try” – This checklist should resolve this:

Thanks for your reply! The test product is still in the database, but I might have edited it a bit in between the actual purchase and the attempt to charge the recurring payment. That shouldn’t matter, right? Hmm… I’ll recreate the test product from scratch and try again.
As for the https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/what-to-do-if-the-debug-file-is-empty post, I’ve gone over it several times and tried all the steps to no avail. Even when I see that the PayPal part works, the debug file is still empty. I’ll start back and square one and try it all again. I’ve gone over it so much, that I might have missed something somewhere!
I’ll post back once I’ve re-tested. Thanks!
