Hello,
I have a question in regards to “Payment verification failed”. A customer bought a digital item from me and in paypal the payment is under review, which that is fine as the plugin is notifying me of this action.
The only thing I’m not sure is how will the customer know? I don’t see any settings in the WP estore plugin to set a “failed, or pending” email body information. So, I don’t know what the purchaser will receive. Is there a way to edit the information? or where should I look in the plugin settings?
lastly, once paypal clears the payment, will the download automatically be generated and sent to the purchaser’s email, without my intervention? Also, will the PDT work in this instance as well?
Please let me know.
Customer is also sent an email with the following message:
Thank You for your purchase. Product(s) will be delivered when the payment is cleared.
You can customize this message using the following technique if you want:
Yes, the download link will be sent to the user via another email when the payment clears later. PDT only works when the user is on your landing on your “Thank You” page from PayPal. Payments that gets settled at a later date won’t work with PayPal as the user won’t be on your website at that time.
