Payment Gateway for Latin America

hi, I am using e-store plugin to sell downloadable files to customers in Latin America. For different reasons, PayPal is not the main gateway in the region (low use of credit cards; customers prefer to pay through other methods).

People thus use other local gateways instead, such as MercadoPago. This gateway uses standardized APIs and notifications (for example, IPN: [https://developers.mercadopago.com/api-ipn]

I guess it is not possible right now to use MercadoPago gateway, but it would be vital for customers in Latin America. Do you think this option would be available soon?

Hi, I can’t say that the MercadoPago gateway will be added soon but I will put it down in the list of gateways to add for the payment gateway bundle:

hi, I guess there are no news regarding this issue.

In that case, I will try to hire a programmer to add MercadoPago as as gateway for WPeStore plugin.

Is there any advice you would give me before proceeding? Any file I shouldn’t modify or something?
