Payment Gateway by Products

Hi,

I’d like to know if there is a way to use specific gateway by produtcs :

I’m using eStore to sell digital downloads but I’m also using it to sell softwares. I’d like to add manuel payment gateway but only for softwares category products. Is there is an option to set this ?

Presently, there is no product specific gateway selection. Although, I can see other applications for such a feature; for instance, use ccBill for certain products that PayPal does not allow. Please add your suggestion to the “wishlist.”

The main issue would be that eStore would have to track multiple carts; one for each gateway.

What is the specific reason for wanting to handle certain software products through the manual gateway?

You could use the gateway specific buy now buttons to get something similar:

This feature allows you to create a buy now button for a product, when clicked it will allow the customer to checkout via the gateway you specified.
