Payment Gateway and eMember – account creation upon payment

I’m wondering if there would be a way to integrate account creation with payments made through the gateway addon. Something along these lines: a customer goes to the payment page, fills in his information, and checks a box to create an account (with eMember of course). That way, a customer could still benefit from account creation without having to do it ahead of time. It could be more of an afterthought upon checking out. It would be an easy way to capture all the pertinent information since the person has to fill out the form anyway.

Hi, The user doesn’t need to check any option on the “collect details” page. If it’s a membership payment eMember will automatically send an email to complete the registration.

I meant purchases of items as opposed to subscriptions.

The eMember integration with eStore will work for any payment gateway offered in eStore plugin.

Thanks for the link. I know they’re already integrated, and it works great when a logged-in member makes a purchase of a regular download. What I mean is that there could be a checkbox for nonmembers to set up a free account at the time of purchase. For sites just selling downloads, most people aren’t going to sign up for an account unless there’s a pressing need to do so. However, with a simple checkbox and a brief explanation of how having an account will streamline future purchases included on the collect details page, they may be so inclined.
