I’ve uploaded the video file (.flv) into a folder on the site and entered its path as the Digital Product URL. I’ve unchecked Downloadable and checked Pay-Per-View Content.
Everything works properly through the ordering process and the encrypted video link is shown on the Thank You page and in the email. But, when I click on the link I get a blank screen.
January 1, 2012 at 2:25 am #40189PeterMemberHi,
Which of the following two options did you use to set up the pay per view:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/setting-up-pay-per-view-option-using-wp-estore-plugin-1066
Also are there any errors on the page which shows as blank when viewing it via firebug or something similar?
June 10, 2012 at 9:37 pm #40190jerelmaniMemberI had a similar problem after upgrading the plugin not knowing that this had changed. So i’m using the new method (aprtp).
But now the link to the Pay per view page is fully exposed and not hidden by the estore plugin. i.e. the permalink name is in the url once customers are redirected.
Could you please advise? thank you
June 10, 2012 at 11:38 pm #40191adminKeymasterThe two methods work differently. You have a slight misunderstanding of the APR method.
Please read the section labeled “How the APR Feature Protects the Content” from the following documentation and it will become clear:

June 11, 2012 at 11:27 pm #40192jerelmaniMembercan you please explain why i have a blank HTML page when i use the original method?
June 12, 2012 at 6:07 am #40193adminKeymasterPlease read the following post and give enough details so I can see the issue myself then I will have some clue as to what is going on:
June 13, 2012 at 5:01 am #40194jerelmaniMemberI recent relocated the site to new server. Previously everything was working in the estore. autorespneder works fine. stats show sale.
Updated estore plugin 6.5.7. running WP 3.3.2
aprtp shows exposed permalink
using original http pay per view link shows a blank white html page.
I hope this is clear enough
June 13, 2012 at 5:01 am #40195jerelmaniMemberI have no idea what browser my customer was using. I am using firefox
June 13, 2012 at 5:06 am #40196jerelmaniMemberthis is of course after a sale or if i generate a link using admin functions. On any browser.
June 13, 2012 at 7:07 am #40197adminKeymasterIt seems like a PHP session issue (that would be my best guess based on your explanation). Please do the test mentioned in the following page to verify this:
Do the steps mentioned under the “How To Find Out If You Are Having a PHP Session Issue” section in the above post.
June 20, 2012 at 4:52 am #40198jerelmaniMemberi have now performed the test on my website and the cart seems to be working fine.

June 20, 2012 at 6:39 am #40199adminKeymasterYep, it looks to be working fine now.
