Tagged: affiliate, form, Pay Per Lead, pay per sign up, registry
Hello,
I am working with WP affiliate Platform Version v4.7 and Shopp 1.2 on the latest version of WordPress.
I need to work with an external web site to be able to pay out on a per-sign-up basis.
To give more concrete details, we need to be able to pay to someone every time someone starts a gift registry from our site http://shoo-foo.com/eco-wedding-registry/
But our registry is run by myregistry.com
My first question then would be, is it even possible to pay affiliates based on the sign ups of registries, be it through a form we place on our site, or a form on an external site?
Is there a way to also only pay affiliates only when someone actually buys something from the registry?
If these are not inherent qualities within the WP Affiliate program, is there enough documentation that if we were to hire a developer, they could create this for us? Or is it too far fetched of an idea?
Or can you think of another creative way to help us accomplish this? Thanks so much for your help in advance!!!
From your explanation I get a feeling that you are trying to setup a Pay Per Lead type system. This documentation has details on this type of setup option and what the capabilities of the affiliate platform plugin is:
