Is it possible to do this? I have installed the plugin that allows me to us php in a widget, and inserted the code:
[wp_eStore_buy_now:product_id:1:end]
There’s nothing else in the widget. All I get is the code appearing on the page.
Also, when I tested out the Pay Pal ‘buy now’ button, before I bought WP e-store, I went through the process that Pay Pal describes on their site of downloading the (very long and complex) code and pasting it into the widget, and it worked fine. Will I still use that code with WP e-store? (it was removed before I installed e-store). I’m not sure how my pay pal business account will connect with e-store and the site otherwise.

If you want to use a PHP widget then use a PHP function that corresponds to the shortcode you want to use. The shortcode reference document will help you will that:
